Francisco Mondragon

Francisco Mondragon received his bachelor’s in Music Education from Louisiana State University (LSU). At LSU he performed with numerous ensembles including bands, orchestra, new music ensemble, brass quintet, and horn quartet. Francisco received many honors for his French horn playing including Section Leader and Member of the Year in the Tiger Marching Band.

Prior to graduating Francisco taught beginning to advanced band as the student teacher at Brusly Middle and High Schools, specializing in brass.
Francisco has also studied piano as a secondary instrument throughout his musical career. 

Francisco’s teaching style is efficient, focused and tailored to the individual students’ needs. His teaching emphasizes not only technique, but also how to be a well rounded musician.
Currently, Francisco teaches K-5 general music in Prince William County Public Schools and enjoys performing with his rock band and brass quintet.
